1. Heal: Many athletes have injured themselves before, you are not the only one. Let you body heal on its own and do some extra work to speed up the process. You will be back on that court in no time.
  2. Observe: Take note that this is a great opportunity for you to work on other areas of your life. Remember, this injury is a speed bump, not a stop sign. You will recover physically, you have to let yourself heal mentally.
  3. Pray: Speak to God each and every day. DO NOT DO THIS JUST WHEN YOU ARE INJURED. Thank him every day & pray to him when you need him the most. He is always there for you.
  4. Education: Learn ways to come back stronger than you were before this injury. This could be in all aspects of life. Work on your academics, if your leg is injured, do ball handling drills, get out of your comfort zone, be that person you always been too shy to be!
