Looking up to incredible gymnasts, finding inspiration in the gymnasts that you see on TV, looking to the gymnasts in your gym that are a couple levels ahead of you… seeing those role models can be a very healthy thing!

But… it’s important you are looking to those role models and seeing your potential instead of getting down on yourself for not being there yet.

You don’t want to look to the gymnasts on TV and start to doubt yourself. “I’ll never get there. I’ll never be her. I’ll never be good enough.” That’s defeating the purpose, right?

Instead look for the positives. What things do you have in common with that gymnast? How did she get to that point, & how can you emulate that? How can you use her path to success to your advantage?
Use it to boost you instead of drag you down.
